Vogel, Elizabeth Ann O’Keefe 

Elizabeth Ann O’Keefe Vogel passed away at sunrise on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2022 at 93 years of age. Elizabeth, ‘Betty’ is the mother of Robert (Barbara), and the grandmother of Bobby, Claire, Max, and Charlie, and the mother of Steve (Cindy) and grandmother to John, Lee, and Eddie. She is the wife of the late Charles R. Vogel.

Betty is the eldest daughter of the late Gertrude Mary and Emmett Joseph O’Keefe, and sister to the late Emmett O’Keefe (Mary Jane), the late Mary Jane Eggleston (Don), and the late Kathleen Stumpf (Gene), and she leaves behind her siblings Peggy Placke (Tom), Mike O’Keefe (Susie), and Jim O’Keefe (Barb). She is also the sister-in-law to the late Charlotte Vogel Behrens (Charlie) and the late Janet Vogel Denison (Willie).

She is the aunt to many nieces and nephews, and she has been the friend to countless many over her incredible lifetime.

Betty was a parishioner of Saint James the Greater in Dogtown, and then a longtime parishioner of Saint Martin de Porres in Hazelwood. She also enjoyed attending Mass at Saint Catherine Laboure.

Donations in honor of Elizabeth Ann O’Keefe Vogel may be offered to Saint James the Greater.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 7th at 11:00 AM at Saint James the Greater Catholic Church in Dogtown, with church visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant.
