Asleep in Jesus, Friday, February 1, 2019, at age 92. Beloved husband of the late Fern Torrence (nee  Twillmann); loving  father of Steven Torrence, Barbara (David) Silvey-Albert, Diane (Thomas) Thomsen, Daniel and  Matthew Torrence, and Michele (Paul) Milonas; dear father-in-law of the late Steven Silvey; dear brother of the late Harold (Margaret) Torrence; dear  grandfather of 15; dear great grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Mr. Torrence was a US Army WWII Veteran serving in the  Pacific Theater and was a bronze star recipient. He was an owner of LeeTex-Jobbers MFG and Distributing Company for over 30 years.

Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois,  Tuesday, February 5, 4-8 p.m. Then at Peace Lutheran Church (737 Barracksview[] Rd., 63125) Wednesday,  February 6, 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at  Sunset Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials to The Salvation Army appreciated.
