Beloved husband for 55 years of Sharon Thomas (nee Roy); loving father of Laura Thomas, Linda (Scott) Massie and the late Gregory Thomas, Jr.; dear grandfather of Gregory Thomas, III, Katelyn Manta, William E. Thomas, II, Joshua Thomas, Bryant Watkins, Christopher, Sam and Brianne Massie and the late Brittany Mantia; dear great grandfather of Jordyn Story and Skyler Watkins; dear brother of William Edward (Pat) Thomas; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, great-great uncle, cousin and friend.
Mr. Thomas served for 35 years in the St. Louis City Sheriff’s Department retiring as a Major and was a former committeeman for the 15th Ward.
Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL 10151 Gravois, Friday May 22 11:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated. Visitation Thursday May 21 3:00-8:00 PM.
