Robert “Bob” E. Thayer of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Thursday February 27th, 2020, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Juanita Thayer (Cunningham).
Bob was proceeded in death by his parents Thomas W. Thayer (father), A. C Thayer (mother), and siblings Tommie, John, and Arlie. He is survived by a host of family, friends, and associates including sons Thomas Thayer and Mark Thayer, daughter-in-law Lauren Thayer (Alderson,) and granddaughter Lillian Elizabeth Thayer.
Bob proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He worked tirelessly as a carpenter and in retirement continued to represent himself as a member of St. Louis Carpenters Union Local 417.
Bob aka “ Dad”, “Uncle Dude”, “Pawpaw” was loved deeply and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorial visitation at Kutis City Chapel 2906 Gravois 63118 on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 12 noon til 2:00 pm. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery will be held in private.
