Tebeau, Michael Paul

Michael Paul Tebeau, 75, of St. Louis, Missouri suddenly passed away at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas while traveling home from a family reunion in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mike is survived by Joan, his loving wife of 37 years.  He leaves behind his children Gregory (Cheryl) Ruder; Lisa (James) Williams; Alicia Zaner; Judith Tebeau; Michael J. Tebeau; Benjamin Ruder and partner Rashelle Strate; Matthew Ruder and friend Kimberley Wirch.  His grandchildren: Jessica Williams; Jacob Williams; Staton Zaner; Emily Zaner; Christian Zaner; Destiny Tebeau; Victor (Heather) Padilla and Georgeanna (June) Junebug, plus his great-grandchildren Harmony and Isabella Padilla.  Mike is survived by his siblings: Mary Soest; Rita Stubits; Ralph (Lois) Tebeau; Larry (Patti) Tebeau.  Proceeded in death are his parents James Paul and Margaret Heneritta (Busche) Tebeau, and his brother Richard Tebeau.  Mike also leaves behind nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces as well as great-great nephews.  Mike was also a dear friend and colleague to many.  Mike will be missed by all who knew him.  After high school Mike enlisted in the US Navy and after his naval service with an honorable discharge as Construction Engineer Petty Officer Second Class (CE2), he worked 10 years as an Electrician for the City of St. Louis in the Public Utilities Department and 40 years for St. Louis Lambert Field International Airport as an Electrical Supervisor and Chief Electrical Engineer.  Mike was also a proud member of IESALC (Illuminating Engineering Society Aviation Lighting Committee}. Mike was a member and served a term as President of Hearts ‘n’ Hands Quilt Guild of O’Fallon, Illinois. He was also a former member of Thimble & Thread Quilt Guild of Greater St. Louis.  He is gone, but not forgotten.

Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. (63123) Monday, October 14, 9 a.m. Interment J.B. National Cemetery with full Honors. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to either ALS Association / Lou Gehrig’s Disease (alsa.org) or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org)Visitation Sunday 2-8 p.m.
