August 16, 1951  –  November 5, 2021

 

Beloved son of Shirley Klahr, brother of Keri (Jackie) Eddings, Father of Robyn Sympson-Ackerman, Grandfather of Phoebe and Sophia Ackerman, Dear family and friend to many, especially his very dear friend Paul Stewart.

George served in the US COAST GUARD for 4 years, he was a chef and a nurse during some of his career days, and he especially loved music and playing his guitar.  He also loved spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren.

There will be a service to celebrate George’s life at the church he belonged to,   St. Paul’s Episcopal, at 6518 Michigan Ave.,  St. Louis, Mo. 63111  (in Carondelet)  with Reverend Rebecca Ragland  officiating the service on Monday, November 22 at 12:30 pm.

Immediately following, the family will proceed to Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, where George’s ashes will be inurned with military honors.
