Beloved husband of the late Naomi “Jackie” Swallow (nee Neels); loving father of Dan (Cheryl), Tim (Sue), Greg (Lisa) and Brad (Laura) Swallow; cherished grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 8; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. George proudly served our country on the USS Idaho during WWII in the U.S. Navy.
Service: Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Services to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Fisherhouse.org or Garysinisefoundation.org appreciated, A Kutis South County Service

Dear Swallow family,
I’m so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He was such a fun guy! My “fondest” memories of him are the famous Indian rope burns he gave me on a regular basis! Lol! Oh, let’s not forget he kept his vehicles so pristine they always looked like they just drove off the show room floor. I have so many fond memories of both your mom and dad. They were such a joy to be around. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing they are reunited, and happily enjoying a martini together….taking pride in the wonderful family they created.

Thanksgivings at Jeanne,my sister & husband Lou when I met hi I was still wearing Fruit of the Loom undershirts!That T’giving w the whole gang (I was out of undershirts then) & as I recall George & I & Jackie were life of the party & out of control breaking in their new house for many celebrations to come. George & I bonded as party people right away & Jackie urged us on. She has been missed as has my sister Jeanne for a while but the earth will shake when we ALL get together in God our father’s mansion. As the Bible tells us Our Lord has many mansions for all. George pave the way for appropriate behavior for us all. I didn’t get to see you & Jackie much but we made good use of every second we had. Mickey & I send our warm, loving condolences which we hope will help Lou & the rest of the Swallows. God will support you & carry you on his shoulders when needed. I am so sorry to hear of both your Mom and Dad’s passing. George was my boss for several years at Monsanto. He was always so nice to me and all those who reported to him. He took and early retirement and I moved on to another job. My husband and I went to several parties at Jackie and George’s house. They were so cute together and always so much fun. They always talked about their boys, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren. They loved you all so much!
