Stroer, John F. “Red Dog”, baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection, on September 28, 2018. Beloved husband of Marilyn Stroer (nee McDonough); loving father of Dennis (Vici) Stroer and Cheryl (Michael) Hedrick;   cherished grandfather of Kielan, KJ, Kevin, Mackenzie, Sean and Connor; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Mr. Stroer retired from The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Dept. after 30 plus years of service.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255Lemay Ferry Rd., on Wednesday, October 3, 9:15 a.m. to Queen of All Saints Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Memorials to The Backstoppers appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 p.m.
