  1. Marilyn gave the monster the good fight, and was a true warrior. We had a wonderful time in Wisconsin in May. I know she is at peace, but we will miss her, and her incredible spirit terribly. She was the best. So much love from here for the family.

  7. Mark, we shared such a precious season in life: young working couples in Colorado Springs. Our first pregnancies together, Marilyn and I grousing about our swollen bodies. Then joy of joys- babies one and baby two! What fun memories, Mark- birthdays and holidays, cookouts, couples ski trips with babies, snowmen, Tam ‘o Shanter Pub and ROLM.

Oh how we ache for your loss, dear friend. Your Marilyn will be forever missed.
We love you, Sarah and Charley Ellison

  9. Mark,
I am very sad to hear of Marilyn’s passing. I have fond memories of working with her and you at ROLM/IBM/Siemens in Colorado.
Marilyn and I often greeted each other with “Hi, how’s Annie” as we both had young daughters named Annie.
Marilyn was a delight to work with when we were supporting the needs of the ROLM customers in Colorado Springs.
Sincere condolences and Blessings to the entire Smith family.

  11. What a wonderful example of love and honor you showed to Marilyn. Alfredo and Annie, you have prayed for her, served her, cared for her, read the Scripture to her, and shared Truth with her! What a great testimony of God’s grace in you and through you! We know our God is good and all that He does is perfect and wise. Trust in Him and lean on His strong Arm!

Praying for you and your entire family!

    With love,

  19. The world lost a beautiful person who shared her love with us all. She was one of the reasons Rolm was such a great place to work .
God took her early and we all lost a part of our past. May she rest in peace.

  21. Shocked and saddened by this news. We shared so many fun times together in Colorado Springs. We have been out of touch for 20 years but the ROLM memories live on. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts.
