In Loving Memory

Simon, Carol Marie

In Loving Memory of Carol Marie Simon

Carol Marie Simon was born in St. Louis on January 18, 1939 and transitioned peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Carol will be loved and remembered for her vibrant spirit, infectious laugh, perpetual positive attitude and outgoing nature.  Always the caring soul, Carol entered the Order of the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1956 and dutifully served as Sr. Joseph Therese for over 30 years.  She continued to serve as a lay person throughout her life as she lovingly assisted other families with their loved ones with special needs and providing companionship.

Carol always enjoyed social gatherings, her family, her many friends and animals.  Those left to cherish her memories include her sister, Marilyn; her brother John and wife Sharon; her niece Denise and husband John and their family; her nephew Scott and wife Dawn and their family; her nephew Joe and wife Marsha and their family; and her niece Deanna (Didi); as well as her dear cousins, relatives and many friends.

Mass to be held at St. Raphael the Archangel on Jamison at 10:00am, Thursday, October 14th followed by a celebration of her life at the Piper Palm House at 11:30am

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri through their website: https://www.hsmo.org/tributes-memorials/

  1. Carol was a wonderful woman with an incredible heart and spirit filled with generosity. She was a tremendous blessing to all who were lucky enough to cross her path. I will forever be grateful to have had her as a special person in my life from a young age and in the lives of my children. She was always there willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. I have know doubt she was welcomed into heaven with open arms . Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. We love you, Carol, and we will miss you so much!
