Shrum, Kurt E.  Asleep in Jesus Sunday, May 2, 2021. Loving husband of Jane Shrum for 38 years; loving father of Nina (Chad) Holderle, Nora (John) Suter, Nikole (Jay) Schroeder.  Beloved grandfather of Brandon, Ryan(Janice), Tyler(Emily), Kurt (Jordan), Carly, Padraig and the late Paige.  Great grandfather of Caden and Cora.  Dear brother of Ramona (William) Stevenson, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

He was a United States Marine reservist for 8 years.  Served the City of St. Louis as a Police Officer for 20 years and then Anheuser Busch security for 19 years.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, Thursday, May 6, 10 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to BackStoppers appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 4-9 p.m.
