Schwalbe, Janet,100, passed Friday, July 28, 2017.  Daughter of the late Henry and Helen (nee Schwenk) Schwalbe; sister of the late  Harold (Frances) Schwalbe.  Dear aunt of Gary, Marietta, Patrick Schwalbe, and Susanne Byerly.  Dearest friend of Louise Barry and family, Agnes Levinson, Charmaine Moeller, Polly Tecu, and so very many others.   After 62 years, Janet retired as a Buyer and Fashion Consultant at  Cunningham’s in downtown St. Louis.  She later worked in a similar position part-time with Sue Ellen’s in Clayton.  Janet volunteered at St. Patrick’s Rectory for 20 years.  A gift of her body was made to the St. Louis  University School of Medicine.

Services: A memorial mass will be celebrated at Nazareth  Living Center’s chapel on Thursday, August 24 at 10:30 am.  Memorials may be made to Nazareth Living Center, 2  Nazareth Lane, St. Louis, MO 63129.
