Beloved husband of Carol Schnitker (nee Litzler); loving father of Diane (Jim) Clement, Denise (Chad) Kilby, Dawn (George) Krause, Roger (Mary), and Robert (Dany) Young and Christine Pilson; dear grandfather of Emma, Jacob, Jack, Sophia, Gus, Tucker, Grace, Austin, Katelyn, Dalenka, Samantha, Sylvia, Zachary, Ben and Gabby; dear son of the late Oliver and Alberta Schnitker; dear brother of Robert (Mary Jane) and William Schnitker; dear uncle, brother-in-law and friend.

Mr. Schnitker was treasurer of Greater St. Louis Training Club. He worked as  the weekend doorman at Bethesda Gardens and for Central States Bus Co.

Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Friday Mar 8, 5:00-8:00 PM, with funeral service on Saturday Mar 9 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be on Monday Mar 11 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10:30 AM . In lieu of flowers memorials to Missouri Best Buddies International (https://www.bestbuddies.org/missouri/) appreciated.
