  1. To the Schaefer family we send our condolences from the Gruender family. Our dear cousin Jack, JR, will be missed so very much especially since we became so close, just like brothers, growing up together for so many years! Jackie will especially miss her daily calls with JR and we will miss our nearly weekly calls with him. We have so many happy memories of staying with Jack in his apartment on Olive Street in St. Louis and our many trips to local restaurants to enjoy sharing great food and our memories together. We send our prayers of strength during this time of transition to Jerry, Tom, Linda and the entire Schaefer family. We love you Jack, and we already miss you! May God welcome you into His open arms, Joe, Luz, Jackie and the entire Gruender family.
