Robert Dobbins

Bob Dobbins, 78, of Lenexa, KS passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 surrounded by the family he loved.  Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 26 at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO. A graveside  service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27 at Resurrection Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be given to The Salvation Army.

Bob was born February 14, 1937, the son of John and Mamie (Cannon) Dobbins, in St. Louis, MO.

Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary (nee Weisenhorn), and two children who he adored, Steve (Denia) Dobbins, of Houston, TX and Stacey (Tim) Grasser of Dallas, TX.  Over the last 4 years, Bob was blessed with two grandchildren, Colin Francis Dobbins and Audrey Elizabeth Grasser, who were the apple of his eye.  He is also survived by a brother, Charlie (Joan) Dobbins of Chesterfield, MO.  The two brothers were inseparable their entire life and have countless memories together.  A graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia, he was a life-long Mizzou Tiger fan.  His sense of humor and laugh will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.  Bob is preceded in death by his parents, his brother (Jack Dobbins), and nephew (Michael Dobbins).
