Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on  Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the age of 49.

   Beloved son of Patricia (nee Huth) and the late Robert Ries; loving brother of Julie Ries, Mark (Marlene) Ries, Laura (Tom)  Marshall and Carol (Daryl)  Greaser; our dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. Matt never met a stranger and touched many lives with his warm heart and kind smile.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Tuesday, February 7, at 8:30 am to St. Dominic Savio  Catholic Church for 9 am mass.  Interment at Resurrection  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to one of these foundations, which were a large part of his life: Sunnyhill  Adventures, Heartland Industries and Creative Concepts for Living.  Visitation, Monday, 6-8 pm.
