  1. The Cardinals have lost a dedicated fan, but Fred knew his Savior had a place prepared for him – and now he’s there in his Savior’s arms.

  5. Gibson, Brock and eight other baseball Hall of Farmers have been called home since April. Perhaps it is no surprise then that Hall of Fame fan Fred Remmert joined the group. Fred thought and talked about the Cardinals every waking hour. When they won he was ecstatic, when they lost he was crushed. His bedroom was filled with Redbird souvenirs, autographs and photos of a beaming Fred with some of his favorite players. I will remember Fred’s joy and enthusiasm and I try to bring that to my life, in his honor. Play ball, dear friend!
