Rawlins. Lawrence David “L.D.”

Lawrence David “L.D.” Rawlins was born in Ironton, MO on September 8th, 1946 and passed away on November 25th, 2022.  L.D. was the son of Betty Rawlins (Brawley) and Herschel Rawlins.  L.D. grew up in St. Louis, MO with three younger siblings, Pat, Darrell and Kathy.  L.D. was preceded in death by his mother, Betty; his father, Herschel; his brother, Pat and his wife of 39 years, Debby Rawlins (Glaze).

L.D. is survived by his significant other, Shannon Fletcher; three sons, Glenn (Molly) Rawlins, Eric (Charlotte) Rawlins and Curt (Tara) Rawlins; and two daughters, Stacy (Gary) Boyer and Dawn Johnson; 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Serviced will be at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129.  Family visitation is at 3:30pm and public visitation from 4:30 to 6:30pm on Thursday December 1st, 2022.  The service will begin at 6:30pm.  Funeral procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery will be Friday, December 2nd, 2022 at 10:00am with Military Honors being provided.
