  1. Rick, it’s sad to hear that you left us, but happy that you can enjoy your rest. For just under 5 years we fought together the criminals in Jennings. I always knew you were there for me and I for you. I’ll never forget on my wedding night you thought my wife was trying to steal her own battery on Lucas Hunt when she was chaining down her hood. I remember our biggest argument when you thought we should lock up the bros who ran the funeral home on W Florissant on my disturbance call! I just wanted a quiet night! But the majority of the time we were of the same mindset. I hadn’t seen you in a couple of years, but I didn’t think then that would be our last visit on this earth. I find myself grieving your passing, and I know we’re saying goodbye to too many friends. Perhaps God will have us working together again brother, but until then rest in peace.

  15. Ricky , that’s what we always called you, as a kid when you stayed a lot with us on the farm, . I remember one time when you stayed with us you got in trouble for shooting the windows out of my dad’s tool shed. We still loved you! You were always such a sweet person, had such a hard life, always a hard worker, but always smiling! I so wish we could have got together one more time. You are at peace now, no more pain. I love you dear cousin’!, Until we meet again!!

  19. Ricky, you taught me a lot, when I was a young officer starting off and even when I was a Reserve Officer before I became full time,…though you thought Reserve officers were “scabs”…lol. You still were very professional and you had a great sense of humor. You had a lot of great stories and I really looked up to you. May you rest in peace and I’ll see you on the other side
