Kim-Rankin-Huelskamp

In Loving Memory

Rankin Huelskamp, Kim

Entered into rest on Friday, March 17, 2023.

Kim had a huge heart, and she loved her children, grandchildren, family, and friends with a fierce and dedicated love. Her spontaneity and laughter made for good fun, and she readily sacrificed and supported those around her. Kim held a masters degree in chemistry, and she adored traveling to see her friends and children while collecting fun memorabilia on her many adventures. She will be greatly missed, and she is survived by her children Erin (Paul) Bohn and Nicholas (Kelly) Huelskamp, her grandchildren, Alec and Olivia Bohn and Asher Huelskamp, and her brother Michael (Carol) Rankin.  She was proceeded in death by her parents Phyllis Rankin and Thomas Rankin.  She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

SERVICES:  Graveside services will be held at St. Charles Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 22, 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Kim’s grandchildren’s educational funds are appreciated.

  3. I met Kim while working at Sigma Diagnostics. We immediately clicked and became the best of friends. When Kim would take her kids out and each was allowed to bring a friend, Kim would invite me. We had so much fun together, always laughing. We always joked that somewhere in our past we were related. She loved her children more than life itself. She was so proud of Erin and Nick and of course her grandchildren. I will miss our talks on the phone or just hanging out being goofy. I will miss Kim with all my heart.

  11. Erin and Paul, My thought and prayers are with you and the twins. Your mother will leave a void that only your memories will help fill. May you feel God’s presence as you support Alec, Olivia and each other over the coming months. May your memories bring smiles to replace your tears.

  15. I have known Kim since we were students at Lindenwood; since we were both science majors, we were in the same classes and became friends. After college, we took different career paths, but we ended up reconnecting as co-workers at Sigma Diagnostics. The stories we could tell! Happy memories, now tinged with sadness at her passing. My sincerest condolences to Erin and Nick and their families.

  17. Kim was a good friend and part of my family. We share the joy of being grandmothers to Alec and Olivia. Wouldn’t mind adding Asher. She lives on in Nick and Kelly and Erin and Paul.
We both enjoyed trips together to Alabama. Her loving heart was very special. Already missing you.
