Dear husband of Bernice Raaf (nee Hynek) for 67 years; dear dad of Debbie (Hank) Smith, Anne Marie (Rick) Oden and Cheryl (Charlie) Schulze; dear grandpa of Nick (Sarah) Pisciotta, Amanda (Ronnie) Rodgers, C.J. Oden, Kristen (Paul) Fels and Jonathan (Rachel) Schulze; great-papa of 11; brother of Rosie (Joe) Rinke and the late Loretta Walsh and Art Raaf; uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Tuesday, August 16, 9:30 a.m. to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Greater St. Louis Honor Flight, appreciated. Visitation Monday, August 15, 4-8 p.m.

  5. To the Raaf Sisters- I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. Years ago I picked up some of his iris bulbs while cleaning out my Dad’s house. And of course, who could ever forget the great Easter Egg Hunts hosted in your Mom & Dad’s backyard. Peace and comfort to your families.
