Purk, Lois Josephine

(nee Sykora), is resting peacefully in the arms of her Savior on November 3, 2015 at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of the late Elmer J. Purk for 68 years; devoted mother of Michael (Amy) Purk, Karen (Kevin) Murphy, Diane (Michael) Seerey and the late Thomas Purk; dear Gma of Logan (Mary McClellan) Purk, Dane Purk, Julia Purk, Ryan (Joshua Britton) Murphy, Katie (Geoff) Anderson, Jessica (Andrew) Schneider, Andrew (Crystal Mathews) Simon; loving GiGi of sweet Reese and adorable Sawyer Anderson and darling Evelyn Schneider; dear sister of Athlyn (David) Dew; dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Lois devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition she gave of her time volunteering for 17 years at St. Anthony Medical Center.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Monday, Nov. 9, 9:30 a.m to St. Paul Catholic Church for 10:00 Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to deGreeff Hospice House or a charity of your choice. Visitation Sun., 3-8 p.m.
