Pupillo

In Loving Memory

Pupillo, Grace (nee Orlando)

Grace Pupillo born March 1, 1927, fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church,  on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 93 years of age; beloved wife of 42 years of the late Salvatore A. Pupillo;  loving  mother of Anthony (Janis) Pupillo, Salvatore (Rozy) Pupillo, Vincent (Susan) Pupillo, Stephen (Jan) Pupillo, Rosalie Pupillo Homire (Richard), John (Judy Schneider) Pupillo, Thomas (Rose) Pupillo, Mary Pupillo Rekart (Bob); Cherished grandmother to 27+ grandchildren, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Grace spent much her life serving and taking care of others, and she had a special place in her heart for her children and grandchildren.  As her grandson, Sam, said so well, “She was a wonderful grandmother to all of us.  The home that Grandpa Sal and Grandma Grace had for us kids Christmas every year, or just to show up unannounced on a weeknight. She might whip up a quick batch of leftovers that was better than anything on The Hill.  She was a woman of her day, unshakable faith. True strength. She was so special and important. I am just proud that she was my grandma. Miss you. Rest well. And thanks for being you.” And from her granddaughter, Jordan, “ I learned so many life lessons and so much from my Grandma Grace…top two: love your children with all you have and no matter the crisis, celebration, or Sunday…cooking large amounts of food makes everything better. May you find peace, love, and all your memories in heaven.  We love you.”
