Priefer, Aliene

Priefer, Aliene A. (nee Schooley), 83, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, January 03, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, sister, Deloris Dyhouse, and brother, Kenneth Schooley.  She is survived by her two brothers, Richard and Clarence Schooley and sister, Maxine Dutch.

Beloved mother to Douglas (Ronalyn) and Steven (Amanda) Priefer.  Aliene was a proud grandmother to Luke, Isabella, Drew, Magnolia and Henry.

Aliene was a woman of faith who believed in the power of prayer.  She had mastered the art of listening and through remarkable kindness made everyone feel loved and welcomed in her home, especially with food and laughter around the dinner table.  Even when she had little she gave much.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Friday, January 8th from 4:00pm until service at 6:00pm concludes at funeral home.

  3. Steven, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. It’s really difficult losing a parent and my heart goes out to you and your family. You will be in my prayers as you deal with this difficult time in your life. Take time to reflect on the good times you spent with Mom and cherish those memories. I hope you and your family have been well during this pandemic we are all facing. Take care yourself and God bless!
