Postol, Glenna Sue

78, of St. Louis, the beloved wife of Theodore Postol, passed away July 13,2020. She is survived by her children; Kevin and wife Belinda of Ballwin, MO, Brian of Edwardsville, Ill and Craig of O’ Fallon, MO and her adored 11 grandchildren; Kaylee and husband Trey Garrison, Alex Postol, Elise Postol, Tyler Postol, Andrew Postol, Caleb Postol, Noah Postol, Jarett Postol, Adisyn Postol, Jayden Postol and Leyton Postol and 1 great granddaughter Evelyn Garrison.
Glenna was born in the city of St. Louis, Missouri as the youngest daughter of Glenn and Nadine Ferguson. She had 2 older brothers, who proceeded her in death Richard (Ann) and Donald. Her childhood was spent with many family trips to Licking, MO enjoying horseback riding and ice skating. She attended Roosevelt High School in St. Louis graduating in Dec. 1960. It was during high school that she met Ted Postol in April 1959. They were married on Sept 7. 1963 for 57 blessed years.
Glenna and Ted lived in both North County and South County and attended St. Margaret Mary Alocoque Church. Glenna was an active member of the St. Margaret Mary Alocoque Woman’s Club. Upon retirement, they moved to Eureka MO where Glenna was an active member of the Sacred Heart Church and Woman’s Club. She was also a very active member of the Roosevelt High 1960 Reunion Committee.
Glenna’s first love was taking care of her family. She also enjoyed crocheting and making afghans for family and friends, reading, cooking, baking and going to sporting events of both her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed traveling all over the United State and internationally with both Ted, her family and friends visiting many wonderful places with her favorite destination being San Diego. She loved going to the beach in Marco Island, Florida for the past 30 years and spent many years spending time at Table Rock Lake at Branson, MO at their 2nd home.
A visitation will be held at Kutis Funeral Home – Afton on Monday July 20, 2020 from 4 PM-8PM with a funeral service held on July 21, 2020 at Sacred Heart – Eureka at 10AM
