In Loving Memory

Pinner, Charles R.

Charles (Charlie) Robert Pinner, 21, of St. Louis, passed away on December 30,2021, at his home peacefully in his sleep. Charlie is survived by his brothers Jason (Margaret) Thomas, Chris (Tina) Beardon and sisters Rebecca (Taylor) Saum and Hannah (Tim) Baur. His maternal grandparents Robert (Nancy) Galoskowsky and preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Charles (Delphia) Pinner. Charlie was keenly interested in the world around him. He backpacked thru Spain and Portugal and immediately fell in love with traveling in which he hoped to do extensively. He had a passion for computers and loved being his own independent person. He was a true friend with an infectious smile.
Even though Charlie was taken too soon, he lived an extraordinary life surrounded by people who adored him, and he will be greatly missed.

To Charlie, thank you for being a good and true friend to my son, Benjamin. You were always there for him, even after his death, you reached out to me. It meant the world. Give Benjamin a hug for me. Behave in the heavens.

  17. I went to school with Charlie since 6th grade, and although we were never super close- he never hesitated to be a friend to anyone who needed it. Anytime anyone needed help he was there to give it. He had such a kind soul and was such a pure person. I’m sending his family and friends so much love and so many prayers for peace and comfort.

  35. Charlie was a major influence in my life when I was younger. I wish I’d found out about his passing sooner, and kept in touch. Traveling with him was an amazing experience, and I still think about him every time I wear a long sleeve t-shirt with shorts. I hope you found your peace Charlie.
