Beloved husband of Barbara, (nee Townsend); loving father of William (Lisa) Jr., John (Nikki) and Dawn; cherished grandfather of Carrie, Andrea (Anthony), Jessica, Kirsten, Alexa, Blake and Sydney; great-grandfather of Taylor, Kali, Ella and Gianni; loving son of the late Willis and Irene Penberthy; dear  brother of Peggy; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Mr. Penberthy faithfully served our country and retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Services: Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Thursday, September 7, 9:30 a.m. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Disabled American Veterans or Wounded Warrior Project. Visitation Wednesday, 4- 8 p.m.
