Panarisi, Calogero

 Calogero “Charlie” Panarisi, 89, of St. Louis, MO. passed away in his home from Alzheimer’s disease and complications of pneumonia on the morning of Monday May 28, 2018, eight months after his beloved wife. Calogero was preceded in death by his wife, Maria, his siblings, Stefano, Rosina, Giuseppina, Pietro, and Luigi. His niece and nephews Paulina and Stefano Busciglio, and Gabrielle Maggini. He was survived by his daughter Rosanna Leone, son-in-law Leo Leone, granddaughters Vita, and Loredana Leone. He was also, survived by his sisters-in-law, Antonietta Settecasi and Italia Panarisi, his many nieces and nephews including Anna Maggini, and Gasper and Gloria Pendino. He was a dear uncle to his many great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews both in the United States, and in Italy. He was a member of St. Jude, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Joseph, Padre Pio, The Boys and Girls Club of America Associations, and Boys Town. Calogero, was loved by all, and will be greatly missed. Visitation and services will be held at St. Anthony’s of Padua Parish located on 3140 Meramec St, St. Louis, MO 63118 on Friday June 1, 2018. Visitation will start at 9am and the mass at 11am. A memorial luncheon for both Maria and Calogero will follow after the cemetery.
