Oster

In Loving Memory

Oster, Stephen R.

Oster, Stephen R.

Age, 60 of Arnold, MO August 28, 1960 – July 4, 2021 Born in St. Louis, MO Attended Afton High School. Dedicated 32 years of service to Metropolitan Sewer District

Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lori Oster. Proud father to his son Bryon Oster and daughter Amanda Clark. Caring son of Audrey Oster and the late Russell Oster. Cherished brother of Christine Wilson, Roxanne Burnett and Darek Oster. “Silly” Papa to his three grandchildren Eli, Theo and Evelyn.

His favorite days were spent bass fishing at the lake, at a car show with his classic Mustang or playing with his grandkids.  It seemed like there was nothing that he couldn’t do. He was the fixer of all things and could accomplish even the most complicated of tasks. He loved animals and literally couldn’t hurt a fly without feeling guilty. He would always go out of his way to help even complete strangers in a time of need.  He will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Services; Memorial visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Sat. 7/17 from 10AM until time of service at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made in Steve’s honor to the American Cancer Society. Celebration of Life: Following Memorial Service from 12:30-3:00 at 3517 Jeffco Blvd  Arnold, MO  63010 Room 102. Food provided

As good as a friend that he was, I’m sure that he was a great Husband and Father. My heart goes out to Lori, Bryon, Amanda and all who were graced by having Steve in their lives.
