Earl Wayne Oliver:  2/18/1952 – 2/26/2021

Earl Wayne Oliver, age 69, of Arnold, Missouri (MO) passed away after a short battle with lung cancer on Friday evening, February 26, 2021, at his brother’s home in Barnhart, MO.

Earl was born on February 18,1952 in Trigg county of Cadiz, Kentucky (KY) to his parents, the late Manual Sidney Oliver, Sr. and the late Frances Susie Bell (Delawson) Oliver. Earl was raised with 9 siblings and as a young adult served in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Earl spent over 40 years running his Cultured Marble business. Earl married Cathy Elaine (McGar) Oliver on November 1,1974 at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, KY and together they raised their three children, Angie, Doug and Sheila. In 1985, Earl moved his family to Saint Peters, MO where he continued his Cultured Marble business until retirement. On July 14, 2006, Earl married Martha (Knight) and together they shared their life and blended their families.

Earl was hard-working and handy in many areas of life. His hobbies included repairing vehicles, home-improvement projects, and fishing.  Most importantly, he was a family man. He loved his family and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Earl was loved by everyone who knew him and cherished by his family. He will be missed by all.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Cathy Elaine (McGar) Oliver, and two brothers, Raymond Leon Oliver and Manual Sidney Oliver, Jr.

Earl is survived by his wife of 14 years, Martha (Knight) Oliver of Arnold, MO; children, Douglas Wayne (Tina) Oliver of Saint Charles, MO, Sheila Renee Oliver of Fenton, MO, and Angela Pauline (McGar) Fricke (Scott) of Richmond Heights, MO, children of Cathy Elaine (McGar) Oliver; stepchildren, Aaron (Sherrie) Rickert of Arnold, MO, Brad Rickert of Saint Louis, MO, and Candace (Alex) Sikich of Carbondale, IL, children of Martha (Knight) Oliver; brothers, Gary (Jody) Oliver of Barnhart, MO, Bruce (Elaine) Oliver of Manchester, TN, Kenneth (Julie) Oliver of Madisonville, TN, Daniel (Alberta) Oliver of Redlands, CA, and Kevin (Gabby) Oliver of Mexico City, MX; sisters, Norma Gray of Clarksville, TN, and Joann (Roy) Ragen of Hesperia, MI; grandsons, Eric Lee Fricke of Hazelwood, MO and Brandon Earl Fricke of Saint Charles, MO, sons of Angie (Jason) Fricke, Brandon Bridgeman of Saint Charles, MO, son of Doug (Tina) Oliver; granddaughters, Abby Boone and Peyton Rickert, daughters of Aaron (Sherrie) Rickert, Anna Elisabeth, daughter of Candace (Alex) Sikich; great granddaughters, Adyson and Amelia, daughters of Abby Boone.

Arrangements for services are as follows: Friday, March 12, 2021, Graveside Service to precede Memorial Service. Graveside service with full Military Honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery @ 10:30 am, arrive by 10:15 am. Address: 2900 Sheridan Rd.,  St. Louis, MO  63125

Graveside service is limited to the 10 immediate family members designated. All others are welcome to observe the service, but are required to remain inside their vehicles at all times.

Live viewing of the graveside service will be available on Facebook via Jody Klopotoski Oliver’s Facebook page.

Memorial service immediately following graveside service from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, officiated by Pastor Rick Jones, at South County Church of the Nazarene.  Everyone is welcome.  Masks optional. Address: 2436 Telegraph Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125
