In Loving Memory

O’Connell, Robert E. Sr.

Sr. fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on Nov. 12, 2015.  Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Woods); dearest father of Mary K. and Robert E. Jr. (Jenny Stockmann) O’Connell; and grandfather of Katelyn, Robert E. III, and Molly.  Loving son of the late Frank and Rosalie (nee Gratiaa) O’Connell; loving brother to the late Frank O’Connell and late Rosemary (nee O’Connell) Willging.  He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Robert served in World War II as a surgical technician aboard the Frances Y. Slanger.  He worked for McDonnell Douglas and retired from the United States Army Troop Support Command in 1985.

Services:  Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd.  on Monday, November 16, 9:30 am to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for a 10:00 AM Mass.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Donations may be made to Saints Teresa and Bridget Parish General Fund 3636 North Market St. Louis, MO 63113

Visitation Sunday 3:00 to 7:00PM.
