In Loving Memory

Norton, Barbara J. (nee House)

Barbara lived in Saint Louis all her life, went to Southwest high school.  Barb with Ken in tow after school would go see her friends race their cards and show them off. An American Graffiti life! At 18 she married Gene Norton, for over 50 years. They would play games and spend time with neighbors and friends. One time a new neighbors was planting a new flower garden from seed, and in the middle of the night Barb and Gene snuck over and planted a lot of plastic flowers to bring her joy and shock the next morning!!  There are many of the stories we are hearing and would love to hear of the laugher and fun she had. They loved bowling and played with in leagues by the house. She continued bowling for many years for the love of the game and the great friends she bowled with. She loved Bingo and many of you know she had her nights that she could be found the VFW hall hoping to yell bingo with laughing and enjoying her friends there too. She had no children but loved her dogs so very much. After Gene died she traveled to Denver, Las Vegas and Ireland with Ken to see place she had not seen before. Then a high school friend Paul Lawson asked her to go to dinner and the stories they shared started another Love story of fun and travel over the next seven years! Sadly Paul preceded her in death by 6 week.  Preceding her death Her mother Lucille (nee Barber) House, Father Eugene House, Sister, Patricia Ann House. Survived by her Brothers Ken House, Mike House and Steve House. Plus many Nieces and nephews and great and great-great!

Services; Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL 10151 Gravois Friday Nov 19 11 AM until services at 1PM. Interment Mt Hope Cemetery.
