Nathe, Eileen Theresa (nee Winkler)

Eileen Theresa Nathe, 93, passed into rest on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Dear mother of Teri (Keith) Gansner, David (Teresa) Nathe, Mary K. Covert, Robert (Tina) Nathe, Jr. and Ann (Bill) Chase; dear grandmother of Bryan Gansner, Brice (Lisa) Gansner, Mary (John) Cook, Nick Coleman, Chris (Ashley) Coleman, and Madeline Nathe; dear great-grandmother of Kadin, Ella-Grace, Lexi, Brady, Gabriel, Blayne, Emery, Amelia, Finley, Rowan, Dakota and Ivy; our dear mother-in-law, aunt and friend.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Nathe, Sr., parents John and Elizabeth Winkler, brothers Paul (Charlotte) Winkler and John Winkler.  Sisters Lorraine (Bud) Costello, Jane (Art) O’Leary. Surviving her are her sisters Grace (late Clancy) Jansen, Mary Ann (late Patrick) Heeney and sister-in-law Judy (late John) Winkler.

Eileen grew up in North St. Louis in Our Mother of Perpetual Help parish.  She attended grade school there and then received her high school diploma from Beaumont High School.  After WWII, she married her husband in 1952.  She was a woman of faith, active in her church, and enjoyed many hobbies and her family.

SERVICES: Funeral from Little Flower Church, 1275 Boland Place, St. Louis, MO on Monday, March 27. Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 9:30 a.m. with burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
