Muenster, Wilbur H. “Bill”

Wilbur H. “Bill” Muenster left this life on February 2, 2019. He peacefully transitioned surrounded by his loving family.  Bill was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 14, 1927 to Edward F. and Laura (Blum) Muenster.  Bill was married to Betty (Emmert) and from this union came two children, Deborah Ann and Lisa Wood.  He was married to A. Colleen Muenster who predeceased him in 2008.  He is survived by his daughter, Deb Hill-Davis (Todd), grandchildren Sarah and Bridget, and his daughter, Lisa Armbruster, grandchildren, Emma and Daniel.  He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Brent Armbruster, in 2016.  He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Muenster, in 2012.  Bill served in the US Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. He will be buried privately with military honors.

Visitation is Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63123.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 11:00 a.m. at First Unity Church of St. Louis, 4753 Butler Hill Rd., St. Louis, MO 63128.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, staff and hospice caregivers at Missouri Baptist Hospital for their loving care of Bill in his final days.
