In Loving Memory

Moise, Estell L.

Estell L. Moise (nee Beaird) passed away on the evening of September 8, 2021, surrounded by family at the age of 89.

Born on May 24, 1932 in Illinois, Estell lived a full life traveling the world and raising a family, and finally settling on a farm in Auxvasse, MO. Through her sovereign strength and loving soul, Estell was a force to be reckoned with as a resplendent and spirited matriarch. Cherished by many, she welcomed all into her home, regaling everyone with her brilliant stories. Her true life’s calling, however, was as an incredible sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend to many.

She is survived by her siblings in mourning James Beaird, Mary Indermark, Thelma (Larry) Mueller and Betty (Gary) Hilton; her devoted and heartbroken daughter, Diana Lynn (Jerry) Turner; son, Lionel C. Moise III (Tania Majewski), and son-in-law George Fritz; grandchildren, Michele (Sonny) Simpson, Melanie (Terence) Degnan, George (Cassie) Fritz, Jr., Thomas Fritz, Jonathan Fritz, and Lionel C. Moise IV.

Estell’s spirit will continue to live on through her great-grandchildren, Brenden (Danielle) O’Hearn, Blake (Christine) O’Hearn, Cole Carrier, Kairi & Montey Fritz, Lola Degnan, Grayson & Emmalyn Fritz, and her great-great-grandchildren, Adeline and Jameson O’Hearn whom she was fortunate and proud to have spent time together as 5 generations.

Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Thelma Beaird (nee Dunn); brothers, Thomas (Barbara) Beaird and Edward (Phyllis) Beaird; brother-in-law Richard Indermark; sister-in-law Sally Beaird; former husband & father to her children, Lionel C. Moise Jr.; and most recently her dear daughter, Sandra Lee Fritz (nee Moise).

Estell leaves behind her faithful companion, Peppy who stayed by her side until her last breath.  Life is never long enough to be with the people you love.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to your favorite charity are appreciated.

Services:  Memorial visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Saturday, September 18, 1 pm until service at 5 pm.
