Miorelli, The Honorable Arthur F.

of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on March 1, 2022 at Parc Provence, where he was provided Hospice Care following a long illness. Judge Miorelli was born on May 28, 1931 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Arthur Remigia and Angeline (nee Caldart) Miorelli. After graduating from high school, Judge Miorelli enlisted in the U. S. Army, serving his country for three years full-time and was honorably discharged on May 31, 1962, following ten years in the U. S. Army Reserves. He obtained his undergraduate degree and law degree from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. Judge Miorelli practiced law prior to being appointed Associate Circuit Court Judge of the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis. Judge Miorelli remained on the bench until 2001 when he retired at 70 years of age, per state law, only to be re-appointed to remain a Senior Judge for the State of Missouri until he was 75.

Judge Miorelli is survived by his nephew, William A. Staub, the son of his deceased beloved sister, Alma M. Staub.  Judge Miorelli’s dear close friend of nearly 70 years, the Honorable Ellis Gregory, preceded Judge Miorelli in death, in 2017. Jennifer Adams of Bluebird Home Care of Missouri and her staff, the staffs of Delmar Gardens-South and Parc Provence of Creve Coeur provided loving care to Judge Miorelli during the last four years of his life.

Services provided by KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL; no visitation prior to interment.  Interment at Resurrection Roman Catholic Cemetery, 6901 Mackenzie Road, Affton, Missouri, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.  Donations to: St. Andrews Catholic Church, 1309 Hoffmeister, St. Louis, Missouri 63125; and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation, 3800 Park Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63110.
