Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather

Jack Mesey, 71, left us on March 2nd, 2019 with his wife by his his side at Jefferson Barracks Hospice Center.

 

Jack was born May 10th, 1947 in Richmond MO, to Mary Cantrell and Roscoe Mesey. He entered the Army on November 30th, 1964. After serving in Vietnam he returned from overseas and honorably discharged November 25th, 1967. He returned to St. Louis where he met his wife Betty the summer of 1978 and married her November 4, 1978. Jack remained a devoted husband, father, and grandfather the rest of his days.

 

Jack’s interests included his family, travelling, movies, and the baseball team the Cardinals. He devoted most of his time and energy to his family. He always travelled with his wife, daughter, and grandchildren. His charming personality helped comfort many in troubling times.

 

Jack Mesey is survived by his wife Betty, son William (Bill) Mesey, daughter Julie DeVivo, and his grandchildren Brooke Cannon, Devin Cannon, and William (Joe) Mesey. Along with siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
