In Loving Memory

Memhardt, George “Rusty”

His family is heartbroken to share the news of his passing on February 28, 2021. He has left us too soon and we are devastated by this loss. We know that Rusty was loved by many and that his fun-loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Patricia; children Chritine (Nathan), Jennifer, Christopher; grandchildren Allison, Anthony, Brianna; and siblings Linda (Phillip), Randy (Mary), Paul (Ree), Mary (Jack), Mark (Stephanie).

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we cannot celebrate his life as we’d like. Services at Kutis Funeral home are private and for family only. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to our family’s charity, Giving is a Family Tradition (GiFT). https://www.givingisafamilytradition.org/donate

  5. I’ve been blessed with four great brothers and a wonderful sister, I think we would all agree that Rusty was the “glue” that kept us tightly bound together. How I will miss his smile, laughter, sense of humor, extreme generosity, but most of all the love he shared with all of us. To Pat and all of Rusty’s family, I send my love and prayers for peace and comfort.

  17. So sorry to hear of Rusty’s passing. His presence in a room always brought joy, smiles and
great conversation. At get togethers growing up, those Memhardts and all those kids… so many good memories, so much fun! Rusty’s red hair, a little scruffold and a big smile always set him apart. To Linda, Randy, Paul, Mary and Mark and families, I know you will miss him terribly. To Pat, the loving caring partnership you shared was very evident to all. May you and your family find peace in wonderful memories. Hugs and love to all.

  21. Rusty’s end came far to soon. He worked so hard to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. I always admired his can do attitude. He always had a way to make things work. With every cast while fishing, this year, it will remind me of our loss. His sprit will live through all family and friends.
