McMullin-Edited

In Loving Memory

McMullin, Dolores C

(nee Huster) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Dale J. McMullin. Dearest mother of Steve (Bobbi) McMullin, Patty (Don) Boyer and Carol (Steve) Walker. Loving grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 9. Our dear aunt and friend.

Dolores grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Cleveland High School.  She married her high school sweetheart, Dale, and spent the next 68 years loving him and raising her family of three children. Her family and her faith were the most important things in her life.  She coached her daughter’s softball team after spending early years playing professional softball as a pitcher for the St. Louis Orphans.  When her children were older she worked part time as a customer service representative for JC Penney and Sears catalog, and then alongside her husband and son as an office worker in a storage warehouse.  In her free time she liked to garden, growing flowers and feeding the hummingbirds.  She liked to play cards with friends, and enjoyed bowling as part of a bowling team.  In her retirement years, she enjoyed the company of soulmate Dale watching Cardinal baseball games and eating jelly beans!

SERVICES: Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Wednesday, September 7 at 10 AM. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Memorials to the American Heart Association appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM.
