McFarland, Richard A.

79, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 4, 2021 due to complications from pneumonia.  Rich is survived by his wife of 49 years, Vicki (Reeves); sons, Chris, Frank, Mark; daughters, Lisa (Jenkins), Tracy (Forth), 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew.

Rich worked for Tension Envelope Corporation for 51 years before retiring in 2011.  He was an active member of South County Bible Church, serving in many ways.  Rich especially enjoyed day trips antiquing with Vicki and good times with family and friends.  He loved his many kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids and will be dearly missed.  Donations may be made to The Gideons International in his honor.

Services:  South County Bible Church; visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with funeral service to follow.  Family departing following service for Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, Missouri.  The 11:00 service will be available on the South County Bible Church Live-stream Channel

  1. I have only fond memories of Richard having worked with him and his teammate and coworker Lon Robinson until they both retired. He was a good friend who I could always count on for help with my customers in Asia and Australia. I have thought of him often since he retired and was sad to hear of his passing. Rest in peace and God bless.

  3. Rich will be dearly missed he was my mentor when I first started working for Tension. Because of him that’s how I receive my nickname Chico. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his wife and family.
