McDonnell, Mary C. (nee Varrone), passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the age of 94.
Beloved wife of 46 years to the late Owen “Mack” McDonnell; loving mother to Patricia (Michael) Unser; cherished grandma to Jacquelyn “Jackie” Unser and Lauren (Roy) Eagan; dearest sister of the late Antoinnette “Toni” (John) Dolan and Paul (Jean) Varrone; our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Mary had a passion for life. Her faith, family and friends were things she cherished the most. She will be dearly missed.
Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Monday, November 7, 12 p.m. to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church for a 12:30 p.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Visitation Sunday, 3-7 p.m.
