In Loving Memory

MAJTAS, GLORIA M (GRACE)

Age 92, on Monday 07/27/20 of St. Louis, Missouri. Born in St. Louis on January 16, 1928. Beloved wife of the late Walter G. Majtas and mother of Paula Frick (James) and Walter G. Majtas, JR. (Suze). She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Marie Grace; sisters Mary Kuba (John), Virginia Brunk, and brother Arthur Grace, JR., (Ethel) and granddaughter Laura Marie Frick. In addition to her children and their spouses, she is survived by her loving grandchildren Katherine Frick, Michael Majtas (Natalie), Gustin Majtas, David Majtas, Stephanie (Frick) Mansfield (Andrew), and Joseph Majtas (Lauryn). Also surviving are great grandchildren, Luke Majtas, Connor and William Mansfield as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for the immediate family on July 31, 2020. If desired, contributions may be made to the Lutheran Senior Services Foundation Employee Fund, 1150 Hanley Industrial Court, St. Louis, Missouri 63144.

  1. I will miss my aunt. She always had so much to say and had strong opinions about most things. Gloria was always reading a new book and her volunteer work at the Saint Louis Zoo for 30+ years was remarkable. Sending my love to Paula, Walt, and all Gloria’s grandkids and great-grandkids. Kathy

  5. I will always have fond memories of family gatherings throughout my childhood at my Aunt Gloria and Uncle Walter’s home. Aunt Gloria’s love of travel and her passion for volunteering at the St. Louis Zoo were inspirations to me. I’m sure she is now happy in Heaven as she is reunited with her Sweetie, my Uncle Walter. ❤️
