Loewe, Mary Ann (nee Theisen)

 

Strengthened by the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died peacefully Thursday July 1, 2021.

Beloved and dedicated wife for 37 years to James N. Loewe, S, who died on his birthday December 14, 2012 after seven years in a nursing home.

Preceded in death by her parents Bernard A. Theisen and Anna Mae Portell Theisen; sister Bernice and brother Bernard.

Loving and caring step-mother of Peggy A. Sannes and Jack Loewe and step-grandmother of Natalie Sannes; dear sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, great -great aunt , cousin, Godmother and friend.

Mary Ann had an infinite love for her family. Life was filled with love for her Catholic faith, family and her “Golden Friends” who attended St. Frances DeSales from kindergarten thru high school and who remained in her circle of friends to this day.

Mary Ann enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially classical music, The Muny, the St Louis Symphony, Fox Theatre, Holiday Dinners and gatherings with friends and family and whipping out coupons to score a great bargain.

She and Jim planned many reunions for the shipmates who served on the USS Washington Battleship (BB-56) during WWII. She also was a member of the Legion Of Mary.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL 10151 Gravois, Thursday July 8 8:45 AM  to St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church for 9:15 AM mass.  Interment JB National Cemetery. PLEASE; NO FLOWERS. Donations preferred to Rural Parish Workers of Christ the King; 15540 Cannon Mines Rd. Cadet (Fertile), MO 63630. Visitation Wednesday 3:00-7:00 PM. (Family requests masks be worn at visitation and at funeral)

  3. Mary Ann will be greatly missed by all at The Rural Parish Workers of Christ the King, she was a wonderful friend and great supporter for many years. She will be missed by all here especially at the Fashion Show Luncheon she attended faithfully each year. Such a wonderful lady.
