Oliver-Livington

In Loving Memory

Livingston, Oliver George

Oliver Livingston was born July 18th, 1982, in St. Louis, MO to the union of Delores (George) Livingston and Michael Livingston. He was the youngest of four siblings, three boys and one girl.

He was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri and was a proud Soldan alumna.

After graduating he worked a few jobs, until he found his home at Dave Sinclair Buick GMC.  When the news of his passing was sent to his customers, there was an outpouring of letters in response relating his kindness, attentiveness, and in most cases, how he became a good friend.

Oliver never met a stranger and greeted everyone with a smile. A jolly giant- he was large in stature and had a heart of gold. He was able to find the good in any situation. He was a curious person; he did not take any thing for face value- he liked to do his own research and come to his own conclusions. He loved his early morning – 3:30am – walks and workouts, karaoke, all genres of music, and hanging out with friends, family, and friends that became family.     Oliver loved to travel, exploring the wonderful world God has created, and spent many long weekends on whirlwind tours of the Middle East, Europe, the Far East, Mexico, and, finally, South America.

On May 30th, 2020, Oliver was baptized into the Catholic faith at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, guided on his journey by the RCIA team at the parish and his Godfather, Dan Sinclair. He was very active in the Catholic faith and helped others along their own journeys. Oliver was a daily communicant, visiting Cure of Ars, Our Lady of Providence, St. Ambrose, and the Basilica of St. Louis, as well as Sts. Peter and Paul.

Oliver passed away on December 11th, 2022, while traveling in Bolivia. Oliver is survived by his parents, Michael and Delores Livingston; his brothers Michael (Jennifer) Livingston Jr and Joseph Livingston; his sister Jennifer Livingston; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be sorely missed.

Memorial visitation on Friday, January 27th at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 1919 S. 7th. St., St. Louis, Missouri, 63104 from 9:30am to 10:30am followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30am. Burial immediately after at Resurrection Cemetery.
