Dear Family of Blackie Lawrence,
Blackie was a great friend in Lake City, Fl and will be missed tremendously. He was always there to help others and was part of a great church family. We had many fabulous lunches together. His laughter and jokes kept us always smiling. Please accept my sympathy and love to be with you in this time of loss. Will see you again one day my friend.

I remember fondly the times I spent with Doris and Blackie at family functions. It was always a great time full of laughter and love. I missed those times but will always have a special place in my heart for two wonderful people.

Blackie will be missed in the neighborhood. He was a true friend. My family and I shared
lots of times with him. Seemed like there was nothing he couldn’t do. Mechanical or elect-
trical he was always at his best. I truly enjoyed being his next door neighbor for all these years.
Please accept my sympathy along with my families.

I’ll always miss his smiling face in the church pew on Sundays along with his constant optimism and special friendship.
I’ll always regret not being able to spend more time with him–he had a lot to teach me about life.

My husband and I loved Blackie. We made it a point to stop by on our golf cart and visit with him. He was such a joy and made me laugh out loud! We sure will miss this sweet, kind, and loving man. Prayers for you.
