In Loving Memory

Krans, Andrew Joshua

Andrew Joshua Krans, on Thursday, November 17, 2022. Son of Neil I. and Dorothy L. (née
Boettcher) Krans of Pevely, was born November 14, 1985, in Bitburg,
Germany. He graduated from Lutheran High School, Laverne California, in 2003, and from 2003-05 he attended Concordia University, Seward Nebraska. He worked in the hospitality industry, most recently
in the position of Front Desk Lead at the River City Casino Hotel. Andrew was seen by co-workers as a generous, trusted friend as well as an indispensable member of the team everywhere he worked. Andrew touched so many lives during his short time with us. He never hesitated to help others no matter what their needs were. He brightened the room with a seemingly endless supply of jokes and stories. He will truly be missed by many. He enjoyed a wide range of passtime pursuits including marksmanship, film photography, computer gaming and collecting original comic book art. He recently underwent extensive medical testing, surgical and pharmaceutical treatments, and was peacefully summoned from this earthly life on Thursday 17 November, at 2:18 A.M at the age of 37 years and 3 days. Andrew is survived by his mother and father, his sister Jenny (Scott) Blackley of Houston Texas, brother Travis (Kristin) Krans of Hartford Wisconsin, and three nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Andrew’s home congregation, Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Road, St Louis MO; or the National Alliance for Mental Illness, (NAMI) a charity for which he had a special regard. Service of Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry.
