Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Beloved wife of James Kotva; loving step-mother of Morgan and James; dearest grandmother of Kyson and Klaus; dear daughter of Ellen and the late Michael Garvin; dear sister of Kelley and James; our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Susan and James are members of St. Anthony Catholic Church in High Ridge. Susan worked for Metlife also had a part-time job at Target where she made numerous friends. She loved animals and loved to help people in need.

Memorial Visitation Friday, November 12, 2021 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm with service at 5:00 pm at Kutis AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd (St. Louis). Memorials may be made to Stray Rescue or New Life Evangelistic Center.

  1. As Thanksgiving draws near I remember how Sue, who held down 2 jobs, worked diligently, giving of herself to provide an incredible homemade feast for hers and my family . Sue always let her light shine. You will be greatly missed Sue. Thanks for the memories.

  3. Susan was my 2nd cousin and our connection was on her mother’s side. I’ve heard of some sweet and precious memories, about her, from Ellen, her mother, and also from my mother, her great Aunt Shirley. May God protect and bless the family during this time of grief. It’s a blessing to know that she was loved and part of a church community. My condolences to all.
