Sheila never knew a stranger, with just one smile or a simple exchange she could instantly make friends wherever she went. One trait that many admired about Sheila was her unwavering ability to put all others before herself. Even whilst fighting for her life, she constantly went above and beyond for her loved ones. She always had the most adventurous spirit, happy go lucky outlook, and general zest for life that her family and friends adored. A few of Sheila’s favorite things included: weekends at the lake house, sunny winery days, cozy fire pit nights, Chiefs football games, joys of the holiday seasons, and quality time spent with family. From all of us, it was such an honor to love and be loved by you Sheila and your loved ones wish you eternal peace and bliss in heaven.
Services; Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 1-5PM. Funeral mass Mary, Mother of the Church on Monday, November 7 at 10AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Home Sweet Home appreciated.

As the new lake neighbors, we only met Sheila once, and she immediately invited us over to enjoy the view from her deck. We’re so glad we had the opportunity to visit, and we deeply regret that we didn’t have more time together. In spite of our short time together, Sheila will be missed by both of us.

She fought so hard to be with you for as long as possible. This is a testament both of her love of you her family but also of your love for her. I pray this day that God comforts you in your grief, and know that she is now in his warm embrace safe from harm and pain. I am so sorry that I was unable to be there to show my support. I would have been there had I not been so ill. Know that I have prayed for Sheila daily for many months. Thank you for live streaming the mass. I was able to be there virtually.
