In Loving Memory

Kersten, Diane T.

Kersten, Diane T. (nee Conrad) passed away due to complications from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) disease on Thursday, April 04, 2019. Diane was the beloved wife of Donald J. Kersten; dear mother of Christopher (Hannah) Pulcher, Wayne (Cara) Pulcher and Michelle (Mike) Fink; dear step-mother of Diana (Andy) Vaporean and Renee Kersten; sweet Nana of Braden, Mary, Jeremiah, Garret, Macie, Marlie, Mindy, Alissa, Evan, Wyatt, Masson, Jeriah, Brielle, Rosie, Nick, Derek and Justin; dear sister of Carol (Dick) Gillet and Ann (Tom) McAllister.  She was a dear sister in law, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.

Diane was a dedicated wife, mother and child of God.  She treasured her faith and her family deeply.  Diane embraced every moment with her family.  She especially cherished her role as Nana and loved watching them participate in all sorts of plays, sports, choirs and school/church programs.  She had the most beautiful smile and a great laugh, as well as a zest for life that included singing and dancing any chance she could get.  Her boundless, positive energy was channeled into loving and caring for her husband and children, involving herself in numerous faith based groups and staying active in the VFW/other military organizations.  Diane made everyone she met feel loved and valued, a true gift.  Her peace was found in quiet prayer, on the beach at Cape Hatteras with her family and in her beloved gardens at home.  She will truly be missed.
