Boettcher, Kenneth John

April 8, 1926 – June 1, 2017  91 years Went home to be with his Lord and Savior, and the love of his life here on earth, Shirley. Kenneth is survived by his children David Eric (Gail) Boettcher, and April Dawn (Lawrence) Moskoff, grandchildren William Brett (Tara) Belcher, Amanda Dawn (Brian) Diehl, Randall Kenneth (Jessica) Belcher, and great grandchildren Clara, Gabrielle, William, Jack, Collin, Caroline and Piper Jean. Kenneth was married to Shirley Jean (nee Wiese) for sixty-eight years. He was the son of the late Albert Henry and Julia Frieda (nee Wilhelm) Boettcher.  Brother of the late Russell (Dorothy), Edwin, Adele (Theodore) Fiedler, Albert (Helen), Audrey (Ivan) Nelson and Melvin (Viola).  Loving uncle, nephew and friend to many. Kenneth graduated from McKinley High School and Washington University. Proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps, which allowed him to go on the Honor Flight with his grandson in October of 2014.  He retired from Ralston Purina after 35 years of service. Many thanks to Dr. Maureen Stoffa and her staff as well as Autumn View Gardens Ellisville and Crossroads Hospice. Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Road on Thursday, June 8th at 11:30AM.  IntermentJefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
